dejavuordreaming-deactivated201 asked: i didnt get to type any more on your post about pro-choice i am pro-life i have many reasons other then religion 1 of which was my mum was extremly ill with my little sister and dr said both of them could die if continued on with the pregnancy... my mum did however and had to be enduced at around25-26 weeks, my little sister was born and was a proper baby she still had developing to do but she was still able to live, she was in icu and in a incubator and watched constantly...
she was given 24 hours and fed through a tube, but she lived.. and is now taller then me… at that age and term in the pregnancy you can still abort a baby and seeing how she was and how she developed and how amazing she is now i could not ever contemplate it.2- i know someone who was raped and although the chances of getting pregnant after being raped is low due to your system being shocked she concieved that night and due to religion she kept the baby.. many thought she was stupid an idiot and would regret it, however, she now goes on talks and debates against abortion. Her baby is her blessing and her life, her little girl shows her each day that out of the shittest most complex and terrible things amazing things can happen and beautiful things can grow. nothing is ever the end. 3, when babies are aborted at a later stage you still have to give birth to the baby and 5-10 cases the baby is still alive when taken out of mother.. that baby is then left on a hospital surgical plate and wheeled away sometimes placed straight into the bag/morgue and they are actually still alive, that baby is breathing and living and they do that and then kill it outside of the mother, the kill it whilst it is still living it is a baby and out of the mother and could survive (my sister did) and they leave it to die.
Like, I said, I myself am against abortion and wouldn’t have one - but I believe that each mother has the right to choose what she does with her body and I have no right to judge her for that.
I can completely see that you are very educated on the matter and you have personal experiences with it.
I’m glad you brought up the “special cases” like rape because any cases I’ve heard, the mother has struggled to have the child in her life because it is a constant reminder of the rape and means she can’t move on, but evidently this is not the case for all.
In my opinion, the latest termination is far to late and I would definitely hope they reduce the amount of weeks considerable to a stage where the child is not developed enough to feel pain.
Thank you for sending me this video - it was eye-opening. But I do still believe it’s the mother’s choice and even though I would never do it myself, it is not my place to judge, just like with drugs, sex, etc, because these things affect only the person doing them.
